TAJDID understands that USAID-Tijara’s Iraqi

This program is an innovative combination of institutional resources designed to ensure that young clients benefit from an effective, holistic approach. The program is developed specifically to generate employment opportunities at the maximum possible rate.
The objectives of the Iraqi Youth Initiative are to be achieved through the implementation of program activities utilizing the Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) supported under the USAID-Tijara project.
The Iraqi Youth Initiative aims to create job opportunities for Iraqi youth as follows:
It’s expected that with USAID-Tijara grant funds, TAJDID will be able to contribute to the following Iraqi
Youth Initiative impact and outcomes in Baghdad:
– Up to 150 youth shall complete business entrepreneurship training.
– A minimum 75 youth will receive microfinance business startup loans
