UNFPA Iraq in partnership with TAJDID Iraq

association conducting very crucial project under the context of humanitarian response ( providing psychological services for GBV survivors ,

TAJDID Iraq is an umbrella implementing partner for UNFPA Iraq Country Office, in partnership with 16 local women non-governmental organization the project applying with technical support and under the guidance of UNFPA Iraq,

The project covering the most affected (7) governorates (Baghdad, Diyala, Saladin, Anbar, Najaf, Karbala and Babylon) that hosting large number of IDPs. Through this project TAJDID Iraq provide logistic facilities and administrative coaching for these NGOs, about 16 women community centers WCC’s were been created, equipped and functionalized , about (45) social well trained social workers are working on providing psychological services for GBV survivors. The main goal of this project is to set women friendly space for displaced families targeting women and young girls, in addition to psychological issues reproductive health issues represented as a main priority for these centers beside the psychological issues.

TAJDID Iraq also facilitate the procurement process for clinic in the camps as well as taking care of conducting good quality coaching for GBV information management system to create high quality of reporting for GBV registered cases.

TAJDID Iraq also facilitate the distribution plans for dignity kits over these women community centers, these kits allocated to preserve the dignity of IDPs women and young girls.
